Rainbow Housing Assistance Corporation (Rainbow) is proud to announce that services this week launched at two new communities. Both properties are managed by long-time partner J. Allen Management based out of Beaumont, Texas. One of the new assets crosses the state line into Louisiana.
Sunlight Manor apartments is a split site, 132-unit community owned by an area nonprofit in Lake Charles, LA (located two hours east of Houston). Prince Hall Village apartments, located in Port Arthur, TX, becomes the second community served there. Prince Hall joins neighboring Louis Manor Trust apartments, also a J. Allen Management managed property, where Rainbow’s award-winning, service-enriched housing model was inserted earlier this year. It is a 132-unit asset located in this historic gulf coast city, one-half hour south of Beaumont. Both communities are project-based, Section 8 multifamily communities.
Rainbow is incredibly pleased to build upon its existing relationship with J. Allen Management. Led by Joshua Allen, Sr., also a Rainbow board member, the organization understands and appreciates the tremendous impact that providing supportive services may have on an asset and those who call it home. J. Allen Management was a critical partner in the historic civil injunction filed in Harris County that helped transform Haverstock Hills apartments in Houston into a safer community.
Earlier this year J. Allen Management contracted Rainbow to provide services at two other properties in Texas. Louis Manor Trust in Port Arthur and Gulf Coast Arms in Houston.
