At the beginning of 2024, we met Nery, a Spanish-language resident from a new Rainbow-served community. As an immigrant from El Salvador, she wanted to chase her American Dream!
One thing about Nery is she carries herself with professionalism and passion. She came to every meeting prepared, every goal was clear in her mind, and she was ready to make her dream a reality. Within 10 weeks of starting her GED program, she set the record for the fastest completion of a GED in Rainbow program history! Now, Nery is working with Rainbow's career services department to achieve her goal of becoming a realtor!
After passing her final GED test, Math, Nery was overjoyed with her performance! She shared with us, "I am writing to thank you very much for the support provided, I have passed my mathematics exam and without you, it would not have been possible, I thank you very much for everything."
